PANGKALAHATANG BUOD: Si Marcelo ay ipinanganak na tatlo ang mata. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Marcelo is born with a third eye on his forehead. From childhood, he is maltreated and thus, experiences isolation. His kindhearted mother who reared him and protects him is the only person who show him true love. Marcelo, in order to avenge his and his mother's misfortunes, vows revenge on the people he perceives to be responsible for their plight - his father who abandoned them, and his grandfather who never recognized them as members of his family. His experiences as a maltreated child instilled in him a desire to defend people from oppression and poverty and leads him to assume a heroic character - - Tres Ojos. Despite his desire to seek revenge, Marcelo's kindheartedness prevails. He also discovers that the people he seeks vengeance on - his father and grandfather - are just victims of treachery.
KARAGDAGANG KAALAMAN: Ang Tres Ojos ay isa sa pinakasikat na nobelang komiks noong dekada singkwenta. Ito ay isinulat ni Tony Velasquez, ang tinuturing na Ama ng Komiks sa Pilipinas, at iginuhit ng batikang dibuhista na si Alfredo Alcala. Ito ay inilathala sa Pilipino Komiks noong taong 1954 hanggang 1955. Ang mga pangunahing tauhan sa nobelang ito ay sina: Marcelo-ang binatang may tatlong-mata; Tres Ojos-ang katauhan ni Marcelo na nakabalatkayo at tumutulong sa mga inaapi; Arsenia-ang babaing umiibig kay Marcelo; Roberto-ang ama ni Marcelo; Don Valerio-ang malupit na may-ari ng lupain ng San Fabian.
 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Tres Ojos is one of the most popular Filipino komiks novels of the 1950s. Written by Tony Velasquez, the recognized Father of the Philippine Komiks and illustrated by Alfredo Alcala, one of the world's finest illustrators, Tres Ojos was serialized in Pilipino Komiks from 1954 to 1955. The main characters of this graphic novel are: Marcelo- a gentleman born with three eyes; Arsenia-the barrio lass who admires Marcelo; Roberto-father of Marcelo; Don Valerio-the owner of San Fabian hacienda.
